Installing GlobalProtect VPN on Mac

This guide provides instructions on how to download the GlobalPRotect VPN client for MAC users. Click Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent hyperlink. After downloading, go to downloads at the bottom right-hand corner, and double click on GlobalProtect.pkg to start the installation. GlobalProtect VPN Installation Guide for Macs 1. DOWNLOAD CLIENT
- Visit https://vpn.ewu.edu
- If not already signed-in, you will be redirected to EWU's Single Sign-On (SSO)
- After sign-in, download the Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent
INSTALLING CLIENT
- Click on the Downloaded file to start the installation
- Click Continue to start the installation
- Continue through the Destination, Installation Type, and Installation confirmation screens
- IMPORTANT: If you see a prompt saying 'System Extension Blocked', click 'Open Security Preferences'
- Click 'Allow' next to the line that references 'Palo Alto Networks'
- GlobalProtect should now be installed and ready to use
CONNECTING TO VPN

- After installing the agent, GlobalProtect should automatically prompt you to connect
- During your first connection, type 'vpn.ewu.edu' into the portal address field

- To connect or disconnect VPN, use the GlobalProtect Globe icon in the menu bar on the top-right of your desktop
